RVE Promotes Two Leaders

RVE is pleased to announce the promotion of two proven leaders into new, significant positions in the firm. Christopher A. Saponaro, PE, PP, Principal, MEP Department Head (pictured on the left) will undertake the role of Regional Manager of Program Management and Donald J. Norbut, PE, PP, CME, CFM, Senior Associate (pictured on the right) will serve as Regional Manager of the Secaucus territory. These well-deserved promotions are testament to Chris’s and Don’s hard work, dedication to the firm and outstanding performance for our clients.

Christopher A. Saponaro, PE, PP, Principal | Regional Manager of Program Management

As the firm has grown, we identified a need for a strong Regional Manager of Program Management, to partner with teams across functional boundaries to further our strategic goals and support our operations. Chris has demonstrated expertise in strong program management. In his long-term role as Project Director for our Delaware River Port Authority projects, Chris was responsible for the management and oversight of activities and monitoring the quality of our services.

In his new role, Chris will be responsible for leading the program management function, partnering with internal engineering discipline leaders, primarily in the infrastructure division, to identify opportunities and manage client accounts. He will also build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders throughout the region, ensuring that all projects align with our strategic goals and adhere to schedule and budget. Chris has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovative thinking and a commitment to excellence in program management. We are confident his expertise and vision will drive our programs to further success and look forward to his expansion of this function to support our clients.

Donald J. Norbut, PE, PP, CME, CFM, Senior Associate | Regional Manager of the Secaucus territory

Don will oversee all operations within the Secaucus region which serves as a foothold of our northern New Jersey operations. His focus will be on driving growth, enhancing client satisfaction and continuing our commitment to operational excellence. He will be instrumental in implementing strategic initiatives and fostering a positive and productive work environment in this critical geography.

Don joined RVE in 2018 and he has more than three decades of experience. He has been instrumental in overseeing our services for municipalities and clients in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties. We are confident that his leadership and expertise will significantly contribute to our continued success in the Secaucus territory.
