RVE is pleased to announce that Edward (Ted) Brennan, Esquire; Paul D. Cray, PE, PP, CME; and Vanessa Nedrick, PE, MSEM have joined the firm’s executive leadership as shareholders. These individuals have been instrumental in shaping the growth of the firm and ensuring its readiness for future challenges.
Ted Brennan serves as RVE’s General Counsel and provides overall business strategy consultation including corporate structure organization, acquisitions and expansion, risk management and strategic analysis. He also serves as RVE’s Corporate Secretary. Ted has more than 15 years of experience and earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a degree of Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. In addition to his role with RVE, he serves as the mayor of the Borough of Merchantville, NJ.
“Ted is the first lawyer to become a principal in the firm in recent history and he’s left an indelible mark on the firm since he joined in 2015,” said Leonard A. Faiola, PE, PP, CME, President and CEO. “His business acumen and foresight has helped us craft a successful growth strategy and ensured we were well prepared to address challenges posed by the inevitable, such as financial downturns, as well as the unexpected, such as the unprecedented pandemic. Ted has been instrumental in our growth into new geographic markets and the firm has benefited from his knowledge.”
Paul D. Cray, PE, PP, CME serves as Regional Manager of our Secaucus, NJ office and is responsible for client growth and retention in northern New Jersey. Paul has more than 30 years of engineering and planning experience. He has managed numerous multi-disciplinary projects and his areas of expertise include site development engineering, stormwater management systems, utility improvements and floodplain delineation and protection. Paul is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as a licensed professional planner and certified municipal engineer in New Jersey. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, and he is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
“Paul has helped steer the strategic growth of the Secaucus office and has the vision necessary to continue this measured growth while maintaining our commitment to providing every client with excellent service,” said Richard G. Arango, PE, CME, Executive Vice President, Regional Manager. “Paul has gained extensive technical and management experience throughout his career and he worked at different RVE offices prior to relocating to northern New Jersey. He has developed a strong culture of collaboration across departments and offices which has increased the effectiveness of our northern New Jersey operations.”
Vanessa Nedrick, PE, MSEM serves as Regional Manager of RVE’s Yardley, Pennsylvania office and is responsible for managing and growing the firm’s operations in Bucks, Philadelphia, Northampton and Lehigh Counties. She has over 20 years of experience in the water and sewer industry and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Drexel University. Vanessa holds professional engineer licenses in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Her areas of expertise include water and sanitary sewer design, inflow and infiltration (I&I) studies and I&I removal and reduction.
“Vanessa made her mark at RVE by accepting whatever challenges came her way,” said Christopher J. Fazio, PE, CME, Executive Vice President. “Recently, she left the comfort zone of working in our Conshohocken office to open a new office in Bucks County while maintaining her role overseeing the firm’s Pennsylvania water/wastewater group. Despite the additional demands of this venture, Vanessa remains generous with her time and continues to actively mentor RVE employees and others in the industry to pass on what she’s learned throughout her career.”
