RVE is pleased to announce its acquisition of Dodson Engineering, Inc. (Dodson), a highly regarded mechanical engineering firm based in Pittsburgh, PA. Dodson will operate as a division of RVE. With the acquisition complete, RVE now has two offices in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area to better serve clients throughout western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
“Dodson is a logical addition to the RVE family and brings a team of professionals who share our commitment to quality project execution and excellent client service,” said RVE President and CEO Leonard A. Faiola. “The firm is well respected in the Allegheny County area and has successfully completed projects at some of the area’s most treasured landmarks, such as the Andy Warhol Museum, the Alcoa Corporate Center and the Omni William Penn Hotel.”
Since 1954, Dodson has established a reputation for excellence in the development of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and fire protection systems for institutional, industrial and commercial engineering applications. The firm has developed a diverse roster of clients including architects, government agencies, school districts and universities, healthcare institutions, laboratory and research centers and hospitality venues.
“Now that we are part of RVE, our clients gain access to the comprehensive, multi-disciplined services they offer,” said Regional Director Gregory Calabria. “We are thrilled to join such a historic firm with operations throughout the mid-Atlantic. The transition has been seamless—both organizations are built on foundations of personalized client service and project delivery.”
