The Township of North Bergen held a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the reopening of Policemen’s Park, located at 1455 Union Turnpike and Grand Avenue. RVE provided design engineering, construction management, soil testing and survey services for this project.
The redesigned park contains several upgraded features including a new spray area, tot swings, a playground with rubberized surfaces, a play house and play set with slides, a brand-new basketball court, a dog run and more. A new gazebo and decorative lighting are also planned for the future. The total cost of the project was $1.2 million, wihth $500,000 from Hudson County Open Space grants.
