Catasauqua Borough was recently named by Business View Magazine as one of the 2024 Best Managed Cities in Pennsylvania with a population under 10k. This recognition is a testament to the Borough's adaptability, resilience and transparency. Like many cities, Catasauqua faced challenges in planning for dynamic growth and ensuring operations were financially responsible. The borough’s leadership established relationships with organizations in the community to tap into their expertise when needed.
Borough Engineer RVE worked with Catasauqua to facilitate the procurement of more than $4.1 million in grants over the past four years. These grants have been pivotal in funding essential infrastructure projects, marking significant progress in addressing long-standing needs within the community.
Vanessa Nedrick, PE has led the RVE team serving the Borough since 2020. Borough Manager Glenn Echart acknowledges the invaluable contributions of Ms. Nedrick and her team, emphasizing that the Borough’s remarkable improvements would not have been possible without their extraordinary efforts.
