RVE provided inspection and construction administration services for the Peddie Lake Dam Pedestrian Bridge Project, which received funding through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and was administered by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). RVE’s Lead Inspector provided full-time detailed inspections ensuring construction was completed in conformance with the approved plans, specifications, FHWA and NJDOT requirements and the Borough of Hightstown’s Federal Aid Program Policies and Procedures Handbook. RVE also provided construction administration services, which included reviewing the Contractor’s baseline schedule prior to construction, arranging and leading the preconstruction meeting, shop drawing review support for the Borough, review of change orders and contract payments, providing progress reports and obtaining project close out documents.
Contractor operations were monitored to ensure pedestrian safety through the park was maintained during work and nonwork hours.
During the construction of this project, it was imperative to maintain ADA-compliant pedestrian access through the work zone at all times.
RVE provided onsite inspection at all times when work was being performed over the 180-calendar day duration of the project.
