RVE provided multidisciplinary engineering services to execute the demolition and new construction of a state-of-the-art pool facility. RVE created an innovative design which incorporated the existing structures and equipment while making the necessary improvements to modernize the complex. RVE recommended relining portions of the existing pool, removing the baby pool and adding a section with zero depth entry. These modifications allowed the Robinson Township to cost-effectively enhance current structures. The water filtration, chemical feeds and distribution lines were replaced to decrease excessive water loss. RVE’s redesign of the pool house interior created an open space concept which promotes a family friendly atmosphere and allowed for ADA compliant equipment to be installed. RVE’s involvement throughout the project, including during the construction process, was key to the project being completed on schedule and within budget. As with any rehabilitation project, unknowns, such as buried electrical conductors, could have prevented the scheduled opening. However, RVE’s construction managers and designers, working in conjunction with Robinson Township Public’s Works provided timely solutions. Early spring delays due to weather conditions threatened the grand reopening; however, RVE compressed the project delivery timeline and expedited the process
