Beach Haven West Sanitary Sewer Replacements

About The Project

RVE was retained to provide engineering services for the planning, design and construction management related to the multi-phased replacement of sewer infrastructure at Beach Haven West in Stafford Township, NJ. The scope of work includes the removal and reconstruction of sanitary sewer system including removal and replacement of Asbestos Concrete Pipe (ACP) sanitary sewer mains, removal and installation of manholes, installation of new sanitary sewer laterals, dewatering, temporary by-pass pumping system and all other work required for the removal and replacement of the sanitary sewer mains. Also included in the scope is the replacement of drainage catch basins, installation of 8” DIP and 12” DIP drainage pipe and pavement restoration including trench restoration, followed by mill and overlay of the trench area.

Project Gallery

To date, RVE has designed the removal and replacement of approximately 30,410 LF of ACP sanitary sewer main with 24,444 LF of 8” SDR-35 PVC pipe, 7,460 LF of 10” SDR-35 PVC pipe and 380 LF 15” SDR-35 PVC pipe.

To date, RVE has designed the removal of 79 manholes, installation of 96 new manholes and the installation of 705 new sanitary sewer laterals.

All projects include submission of New Jersey Infrastructure Bank (NJ I-Bank) Environmental Planning documents and assisting the Township on submission of an NJ I-Bank loan application for Clean Water.
