RVE was retained by Passaic County to prepare construction documents and assist with the bidding and construction phases of the project, which consisted of the milling and resurfacing of various roads as part of the County's annual roadway program. Plans were created from County GIS mapping and field verified for accuracy. Evaluations and field measurements were obtained for ADA curb ramps and crosswalks, storm sewer inlets, pavement markings and signs. Roadway project improvements included roadway base repairs, ADA curb ramps, updated New Jersey stormwater compliant inlet grates, curb pieces, pavement markings/striping, warning signs and guiderails. There were three separate contracts for these roadway programs for the Upper County, Mid-County and Lower County.
