Timothy R. Staszewski responsibilities include coordinating project requirements with clients, contractors, and state and local agencies; in-house review of construction plans, technical specifications, and reports; performing quality assurance/quality control reviews; finalizing documents for public bidding purposes, and providing construction support services for public projects.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Rowan University. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of New Jersey.
His areas of expertise include civil, site, and utility system design consisting of: preparing design documents, specifications, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, sequencing, and schedules; site improvements, grade modifications, and parking lot layout and design; and performing minor architectural layout and design including ADA compliance. As a municipal engineer, he is responsible for familiarity with municipal zoning and permitting processes; reviewing budgets and monitoring of escrow billing; preparing site plan and subdivision reports for board reviews; maintaining public relations with clients, developers, professional firms, and municipal governing bodies.
In 2015 his project, Haddon Avenue Traffic Calming Improvements in the Borough of Collingswood, was awarded first place as the Municipal Project of the Year for Construction Management Projects.
He serves as an officer for the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers and currently holds the position of Treasure.
