Remington & Vernick Engineers is in search of a charismatic individual to join our team.  This person will be the first point of contact for our organization.  This individual must be able to multitask, work well under pressure and is a team player.



  • Answer phone, screen and forward to appropriate office or staff
  • Greet and monitor all incoming guests and clients
  • Deal with queries from the public and customers
  • Prepare office, including conference room for daily use
  • Maintain conference room, facilitate meetings and equipment, i.e. calendar, luncheons, appearance
  • Set-up video and telephone conferences as needed
  • Maintain postage machine
  • Generate and Coordinate the distribution of internal and external mail, i.e. inter-office, USPS, FedEx, UPS and certified mail
  • Return receipt to requested staff for the certified mail
  • Coordinate the sale of plans and specs; responsible for tracking payment
  • Maintain and track monthly spreadsheet of P&S available for sale
  • Ensure the conference room and front door are locked daily at the close of business
  • Maintain petty cash
  • Ensure postage supplies are fully stocked
  • Maintain copy room and copier
  • Order/Stock supply cabinet located in conference room
  • Coordinate the stocking of ladies’ room supplies with Maintenance Department
  • General data entry and utilization of Microsoft office products
  • Back up support of the Partners Executive Assistant on an as needed basis
  • Assist with building maintenance request tracking and vendor coordination
  • Prepare, maintain and track archived files



  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to define problems and offer solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work in groups as well as individually
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Strong ability to multitask



  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ office experience preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use. May require occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
