RVE is pleased to announce several changes of leadership that allow the firm to continue providing excellent service to clients throughout the mid-Atlantic.
New CEO and COO Named
Leonard A. Faiola, PE, PP, CME has been named President/CEO and Annina Hogan, PE, RA, CME, LEED-AP has been named Executive Vice President and COO for the firm.
Len Faiola leads RVE’s executive leadership and provides the strategic vision to ensure the firm’s continued success. Len began his career at RVE 27 years ago as an entry level engineer and served in a variety of capacities before becoming President and CEO. He previously served as the first Director of Business Development in the history of the firm due to his success in client management.
As COO, Annina Hogan maintains responsibility for the operations of the firm. Annina joined RVE in 1999 and quickly ascended to Executive Vice President and Director of Municipal and Engineering Services. Under her management, the division delivers hundreds of assignments each year and provides consulting engineering, planning, and construction-related services to municipalities and school boards.
Craig Remington, PLS, PP and Edward Vernick PE, CME have assumed the roles of Vice Chairman and Chairman, respectively, after leading the firm as Vice President and President/CEO for several decades. Edward Vernick remains a senior advisor to the RVE management team.
Edward F. Brennan, Esq. serves as the firm’s General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.

I’m also honored to announce that Annina Hogan was unanimously selected as our new COO, the culmination of her trailblazing role as RVE’s first female shareholder. The firm is well positioned to continue our 119 years of innovation and client service under this new leadership.”
The firm welcomed four new shareholders:
- Edward Dennis, Jr., PE, PP, CME is a Regional Manager, serving as Principal-in-Charge of the firm’s operations in Pleasantville and Wildwood, NJ.
- Michael G. Meyer, PE is a Regional Manager, serving as Principal-in-Charge of the firm’s western Pennsylvania office and manages operations in Alleghany, Washington, Westmoreland, Indiana and Butler counties in Pennsylvania.
- John M. Pyne, PE, CME is an Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate Development. He is responsible for the strategic growth of the firm in all the market sectors and regions served by RVE; he also serves as Principal-in-Charge of RVE’s Infrastructure Division.
- Christopher A. Saponaro, PE, PP is the firm’s Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing/Fire Protection (MEP) Department Head, serving as Principal-in-Charge for all MEP projects implemented by the firm.
