RVE’s horseshoe tournament raises $1,460 for memorial scholarship

Down Arrow

In early June, RVE employees hosted the 16th annual horseshoe tournament to benefit the Andrew “Staz” Staszewski Memorial Scholarship. This event was founded in memory of the brother of RVE employee and Associate Timothy Staszewski, who passed away from cancer as a young adult.

The memorial scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Collingswood High School senior interested in pursuing a career in public service. Andrew was a Collingswood High School graduate, firefighter and EMT.

This year’s event brought together participants for a game of horseshoes and raised more than $1,460. The total amount raised for the scholarship fund is $18,960 over the past 16 years.
