Addition expands firm’s transportation design capabilities in western Pennsylvania
Pittsburgh, PA, May 8, 2018–Remington & Vernick Engineers (RVE) is pleased to welcome David J. Mikec, Sr.as a Project Manager in our Pittsburgh office. Dave, a licensed Professional Engineer, will be involved in both infrastructure and municipal design.

Dave has three decades of experience serving as a Project Manager for multiple transportation clients including the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. His areas of expertise include project delivery, program development and client relationship management.
Dave also served as a Township Commissioner for 17 years. During this time, he served as the Allegheny County & Western Pennsylvania Association of Township Commissioners President. He also served on the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Commissioners (PSATC) Executive Board and the Allegheny League of Municipalities Board with his last assignments as Treasurer and Pension Plan Committee Chair. Dave received the Outstanding Service Award from the PSATC President and an Allegheny County Proclamation of Achievement for exemplary service to the wellbeing of the Township Residents he represented.
