Improving safety at the Hurffville-Grenloch Baseball Complex

Down Arrow

RVE worked with Washington Township on a project to improve public safety at the Hurffville-Grenloch Baseball Complex. As part of a capital budget, Washington Township Mayor Joann Gattinelli and the Administration were able to effectuate the installation of some pedestrian safety upgrades. This includes continuous advanced warning flashers to alert people to the presence of the baseball complex and children. In addition, when the crosswalk across Hurffville-Grenloch Road is in use, a rapid flashing beacon provides an additional alert. The rapid flashing beacon is in place for the start of this years’ baseball season and the advanced warning flashers have been installed.

The upgrades, unveiled on Saturday May 26, 2018, are designed to increase pedestrian safety and provide warning to area motorists
